-Sous Chef-


  • 5 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years of experience in a Sous Chef capacity (Italian Cuisine)
  • Good culinary knowledge (Italian Cuisine)
  • Good knowledge of food handling/preparation, food ingredients, food hygiene regulations and cooking methods
  • Good interpersonal relationship and positive attitude
  • Hospitality and/or culinary qualifications at Diploma level or above
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Good ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Team-oriented personality with strong people management skills
  • Relevant experience in quality driven environment
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations with strict controls on HACCP procedures
  • Strong knowledge in ISO standards, procedures and certification 
  • Demonstrate innovation in menu design and themed events
  • Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of local and international trends and market
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task


(Chef De Partie)

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will be responsible to prepare and cook in designated areas of the kitchen according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions. You will need to work in a hygienic, safe, efficient and productive manner at all times. The incumbent is required to be familiar and knowledgeable with the menu and ingredients.

Job Description:

  • Assist the Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine in managing daily kitchen operation
  • Supervise and control the work flow of the kitchen staff
  • Maintain consistent quality food preparation
  • Assist the Sous Chef / Chef De Cuisine in training of the Cooks
  • Ensure high level of hygiene and sanitation procedures when handling food, equipment and utensils in accordance to HACCP standards
Qualifications/Education and Experience Required:
  • WSQ Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
  • Possess good knowledge in Western & Italian cuisine.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a fine dining restaurant or banquet kitchen.
  • Possess good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • At least 2 year relevant experience (Italian Cuisine)



~Commis Cook~

Job Description:

  • Assist in the kitchen and food preparation
  • Competent in various methods of cooking
  • Responsible for the preparation of all dishes with the utmost care and hygiene
  • Prepare equipment for the cooking process
  • Other miscellaneous duties

Qualifications/Education and Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year relevant experience (Italian / French Cuisine)
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent working attitude
  • Able to work on split shift
  • Willing to learn and constantly grow his/her skil
